Freeman Beauty Donates Sheet Masks To Front Line Workers Facing COVID-19

In honour of the National Nurses Week from May 6th through May 12th, companies celebrated by giving back to nurses and healthcare workers on the front line working through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Freeman Beauty, a beauty brand under the Paris Presents, Inc, is best known for its wide range of facial masks and specialty bath and body products. They announced their donation of 1 million sheet masks to front line workers nationwide.

Safety comes first when protecting yourself from harmful viruses in the air. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mandates the use of N95 masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers to protect themselves from exposure to COVID-19. Nurses and doctors from around the world have posted the effects of wearing goggles and masks for extensive periods of time resulting in redness, creases, and facial bruising. Freeman Beauty hopes the donation will provide some self-care and relief to the effects of extensive hours of care during this global pandemic.

“COVID-19 has impacted the world and divided us into two groups: those on the front lines and those exercising their civic duties by staying home. With the current state of the world, self-care and skincare have become a key pillar of normalcy for both groups. We are proud to donate 1 million face masks to nurses and medical workers who have been vigorously going to battle day in and day out as our way to say thank you with our deepest gratitude,” said Bill George, CEO of Paris Presents, Inc.

Our skin is the largest organ in the body and must be protected from outside pathogens and pollution at all times. Healthcare workers and nurses are constantly exposed to environmental toxins, which can get trapped into their pores and leave their skin susceptible to skin infections. It is important to keep your hands clean, wash your face 2-3 times a day, moisturize when necessary and exfoliate weekly. Skincare regimes are crucial now more than ever and are essential to maintain healthy skin.
