On April 22, 2020, ECOfashion Corp hosted a virtual Earth Day Event “as a call to action to protect human and planetary wellness” (PRWeb). The event was created by Founder and CEO of ECOfashion Corp Marci Zaroff. The online event featured many celebrities like supermodel and activist Amber Valletta, Package-Free Founder and CEO Lauren Singer, and “Orange Is the New Black” actress and environmentalist Alysia Reiner. The event was held on Zoom and was a way to “celebrate the launch of ECOfashion Corp’s newest sustainable fashion brand, YES AND” (PRWeb). The digital event included a musical performance by YouTuber and actor Alex Aiono, a relaxing Sound Bath and an engaging forum led by ECOrenaissance thought leader Sara Auster. They wanted the event to have people who “shared [a] passion for co-creating a stylish and sustainable world” (PRWeb).
The focus on the summit is uniting industry trailblazers in food, fashion and beauty. The event was moderated by Women’s Wear Daily’s Sustainability Editor Kaley Roshitsh.
ECOfashion Corp’s YES AND. Is “a “GreenHouse of Brands,”(PRWeb). These brands include Farm to Home and MetaWear. “Their primary focus is supporting farmers with tools they need in transition to regenerative organic while addressing climate change mitigation, soil health, women’s empowerment, cradle to cradle principles, and farmer’s livelihoods” (PRWeb). Farm to Home and MetaWear is donating a percentage of sales to their farm project.
